The former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee born on 25 December 1924. who thrice served as a PM, first term was of 13 days in 1996, a period of eleven months from 1998 to 1999, and then from 1998 to 2004. And he was a member of over four decades of Indian parliament and elected in Lok Sabha and founding member of Bharatiya Jana Singh (1968 to 1972).
Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the first prime minister who was not belonging to Indian national congress to serve full five-year term.he was the oldest living Indian prime minister.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee was Awarded India's highest civilian honor "Bharat Ratna" by the president of India. In 2014 Modi government declared Vajpayee Birthday, 25 December marked as "good governance day".
